A Moon for the Misbegotten Auditions

Capitol Shakespeare proudly announces auditions for Eugene O’Neill’s classic American drama A Moon for the Misbegotten directed by Daniel Rogers. A sequel to O’Neill’s A Long Days Journey into Night, this play follows Jamie Tyron to his childhood haunts in search of consolation and forgiveness.
Actors and actresses will read selected scenes from the script.
Capitol Shakespeare is looking to cast 4 Men and 1 Woman. Performances will be Feb. 8,9,10 at the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum.
Rehearsals will be held Monday thru Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and will begin December 6th with a break over the Holidays. Characters include:
1. Jamie Tyron (40’s) , the highly educated but decadent landlord from New York;
2. Hogan (50’s) a feisty Irish immigrant tenant farmer;
3. Josie his voluptuous (28+) Amazon-like daughter;
4. Mike his alter-boy son (20);
5. Harder, a middle aged, spoiled, rich neighbor.
